Justice For Taylor Rose Sookra

Fourteen-year-old Taylor Sookra, a healthy and bright young student at the Berkeley Carroll School in Brooklyn, NY, tragically passed away on Christmas Day, 2021, due to myocarditis after receiving Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.

Despite low risks of COVID-19 in healthy teenage girls and knowledge of myocarditis risks associated with the vaccine, Pfizer did not warn users of the vaccine, and she took it, trusting that it was safe. She fell ill and passed away shortly after.

Now, Taylor’s father, Arthur Sookra, and her Mother, April Burch, have filed a suit against Pfizer, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and her treating physician seeking accountability for their actions and justice for Taylor’s untimely death. This case highlights critical issues of informed consent, medical choice, and corporate and institutional responsibility.

Litigating this case is significant but comes with enormous costs, including attorney resources, court expenses, and expert testimony. Your donations will provide the resources needed to:

  • Hold these entities accountable for their actions and failures to act,

  • Pursue justice for Taylor and her family, and

  • Protect others from facing similar tragedies.

Your support can make a difference. Every contribution—large or small—brings us closer to achieving justice and ensuring that Taylor’s story leads to meaningful change. Please donate now to help fund this critical fight for justice.
